Structural Steel Estimator

Job Summary: We are looking for a Structural Steel Estimator to prepare cost estimates for steel construction projects. You will review drawings, calculate material and labor costs, and help us win jobs with accurate and competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and understand blueprints and drawings

• Estimate quantities and costs of steel and related materials

• Request and compare quotes from suppliers and subcontractors

• Prepare bid proposals for projects

• Work with the project team to finalize budgets

Requirements:

• Experience in estimating or structural steel (preferred)

• Ability to read construction drawings

• Good math and computer skills

• Attention to detail

• Optional: Experience with estimating software like Bluebeam, Tekla, or FabSuite
