• Manage public works projects, including client coordination, agency communication, scheduling, and budgeting
• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and ensure successful project delivery
• Act as liaison between City staff, stakeholders, and technical teams
• Prepare proposals, task orders, scopes, schedules, estimates, and project documentation
• Present to clients, councils, boards, and at public workshops
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Oversee preparation and interpretation of engineering plans, drawings, reports, and technical documents
• Independently manage technical tasks and project responsibilities
• Utilize AutoCAD or similar software for design work

Civil Engineer Project Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of civil engineering design and project management experience
• PE license preferred
• Strong project management, technical, and communication skills
• Proficient in interpreting engineering plans, reports, and technical drawings
• Experience with street and utility improvement design
• Familiarity with AutoCAD
• Ability to work independently and deliver excellent client service

Civil Engineer Project Manager Compensation:

• Competitive salary range: $140,000 $160,000 , based on experience and qualifications
