You will be the FPGA Design Engineer for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC), joining a team of professionals implementing cutting-edge technologies on various development platforms. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing advanced products for military customers, and you will play a key role in solving complex challenges in domains such as aircraft flight command and control, air traffic control, and homeland defense.

What You Will Be Doing
As the FPGA Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Developing, debugging, and integrating processor subsystem features and interfaces in FPGA hardware for Advanced Processors
Creating FPGA requirements, developing FPGA code, generating self-checking test benches, and performing unit tests, synthesis, and timing analysis
Designing and implementing high-speed serial interfaces inside an FPGA
Collaborating with cross-functional teams from other engineering disciplines to ensure successful project execution
Staying up-to-date with industry best practices and technological advancements in FPGA design and development

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. An active Secret clearance is required to start.

-Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering with a concentration in FPGA design and Digital Signal Processing through either coursework or relevant experience.
-Relevant experience with FPGA design and/or Digital Signal Processing.
-Strong communications, collaboration, and presentation skills.
-Active Secret Security clearance- MSEE, MSCE would be a plus.
- Experience with System-Verilog, Verilog, C/C++, MatLab / Simulink, System Verilog languages; Synopsis Synplify, Synopsis VCS, NCSim, ChipScope tool sets desired.
-Experience with Xilinx/AMD and MicroSemi/Microchip part families internal FPGA fabric and IP.
- FPGA design experience with tools noted above.
- Previous experience related to aerospace design techniques would be a plus.
- Prior experience with Lockheed Marin MFC is plus
