Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Description
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and updating CAD models and drawings (both 2D and 3D) using NX. You will work on assembly drawings including detail, sectional, and exploded views, as well as manage assemblies from part to sub-assembly to higher assembly using NX. Additionally, you will handle BOM management using Teamcenter and create parts and drawings using NX.
Responsibilities

- Develop assembly drawings including detail, sectional, and exploded views.
- Manage assemblies from part to sub-assembly to higher assembly using NX.
- Handle BOM management using Teamcenter.
- Create parts and drawings using NX.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in NX for CAD models and drawings.
- Experience with assembly drawings and management.
- Expertise in BOM management and release management.
- Knowledge of GD&T, DFM, and PLM.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with carbon fiber components.
- Experience with PCB and PCBA drawings.
- Ability to update mechanical and electrical drawings.
Work Environment
This position is onsite in the Bay Area, ideally 5 days a week, with lunch included daily. You will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with exposure to diverse parts and systems across the vehicle.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
