DoD Clearance: SecretThe Raytheon Air Defense Ground Equipment department is looking for a full-time Mechanical Engineer, located in Tewksbury, MA
This is an onsite role
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Perform mechanical design, development, and documentation of cables and harnesses for defense system equipment in accordance with system requirements.
Drawing generation, drawing release, and drawing change incorporation
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, non-technical disciplines, and suppliers to develop interconnection design solutions.
Support and participate in design peer reviews, resolving action items.
Support production floor, collecting issues, providing status and participate in problem resolution.
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field and two (2)+ years of experience in a Mechanical Engineering role focusing on hardware design.
CAD design experience
Understanding of configuration management practices
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and results orientated
Holding design reviews and resolving action items
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
CREO, AutoCAD preferred
Experience with modeling and routing of cables and harnesses using CREO
Working knowledge of Military and Commercial Specifications
Ability to achieve results with a minimum of conflicts and within schedule.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
Familiarity with Configuration and Data Management
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/Power Point/Project)
