Airport Civil Engineer

Mead & Hunt, an award-winning national architecture and engineering firm, has continued to exceed our strategic growth initiatives creating opportunity for our current and prospective team members. As a result, a full-time position is available for a civil engineer to join our collaborative and innovative aviation team. This position will be based out of our office in Bloomington, MN.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and leading aviation engineering projects
• Evaluating and analyzing existing projects
• Preparing reports, budgets, cost estimates, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, and permits
• Performing QA/QC tasks including leading design reviews
• Serving as the onsite project engineer on construction projects as needed

A valid driver’s license and some travel will be required.

The successful candidate will have the following background:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience
• PE License in the state of MN

The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all the following:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
• Heavy civil construction experience

Salary Range: $88,000 to $113,000 – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
