We are seeking a Director, Architectural Design Management to work as part of our Pre-Construction team. This exciting role will: manage the allocation, briefing, schedules and outputs of our external architecture providers; take the fantastic concept design from our Design team, produce architectural feasibility work for new stores and like-for-like remodels; carry out surveys where needed to ensure accuracy of record information; and work closely with our layout teams to ensure buildability of our desired propositions.
The role will also support the detailed design of fixturing and individual design features to ensure our stores achieve the right balance of cost effectiveness and world class design.
Location : Las Vegas, NV or Remote within the US
Schedule: Monday Friday, Weekends as needed, 40-50 hours per week,
Travel Requirements: Up to 50%
Pay: $106,000 - $145,000 annually

Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with external architects and internal design & layout teams to ensure accuracy of LoDs
- Work within the Pre-Construction team to ensure that concept designs are translated into architectural design and construction documentation accurately, and with buildability and cost efficiency at the forefront
- Manage the design process in accordance with the required schedules to ensure approval documentation is accurate and timely
- Create architectural feasibility schemes for like for like (LFL) redevelopment work to ensure that proposed LFL enhancements have a strong architectural input as part of the feasibility process
- Carrying out site surveys as required
- Manage the relationship with external architects, ensuring quality service, and minimizing reliance on external support and fees wherever possible with the Senior Director, Pre Construction
- Design Leadership & Management: Leading and managing architectural design projects and teams
- Project Coordination & Collaboration: Coordinating with Landlords, internal stakeholders and collaborating with other professionals to ensure project requirements are met and building systems are integrated
- Design Execution & Quality Control: Overseeing material selection, ensuring accurate documentation, and conducting design reviews at key project stages
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure designs comply with regulations and identifying and resolving potential issues
- Budget & Schedule Management: Work with project teams to ensure design work stays within budget and on schedule
- Communication & Reporting: Present architectural proposals, providing updates, and managing documentation
- 5-8+ years experience in architectural design and project management
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM)
- Knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and construction methods
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong problem-solving and creative thinking abilities
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices is preferred
