Job Description: Plumbs, wires, constructs and maintains remediation equipment, petroleum construction, tools and facilities consistent with company work orders, blueprints, schematic drawings and other prescribed specifications.

What You'll Do:

20%: Install, troubleshoot, upgrade, and repair electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems, in strict compliance with NFPA 30A/NFPA 70E regulations at new retail and commercial fuel facilities.

15%: Perform electrical installations and maintenance in a petroleum construction environment.

15%: Read and interpret drawings, electrical blueprints, schematics, electrical code specifications and technical diagrams, ensuring NFPA 30A/NFPA 70E and OSHA guidelines are followed.

15%: Upgrade electrical and fueling equipment at existing retail and commercial fuel facilities, install emergency shut off and low voltage disconnects at fueling facilities, run electrical conduits and pull wiring to electrical controls and lighting systems.

15%: Uphold stringent safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure working environment for both you and fellow team members, demonstrating a commitment to NFPA 30A/NFPA 70E standards at all times.

5%: Other duties as assigned.

Working Hazards: Works in an environment with potential exposure to fumes, dirt, noise, equipment movement dangers, vibrations, dangerous chemical/solvents, electrical shock, and inclement temperature extremes.

What We're Looking For:

Education: Education: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of US DOL Electrician Apprenticeship program.

Experience: 6+ years of recent electrical experience in the commercial, or industrial construction; petroleum construction preferred.

Licenses/Certifications: Active local Master Electrician License, OSHA10/30/Hazwoper (Required). Master Electrician License in surrounding states (Preferred)

Technical Abilities: Proficient in electrical systems installation, troubleshooting, and repair, ensuring strict adherence to NFPA 30A/NFPA 70E regulations throughout. Thorough understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and standards, including NEC and NFPA, with a specific emphasis on NFPA 30A/NFPA 70E requirements. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints, ensuring NFPA 30A/NFPA 70E guidelines are rigorously followed in all installations and repairs.

Autonomy/Direction: Translates directions from Project Managers into working orders for site personnel. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.

Physical/Mental Exertion: Ability to perform heavy physical labor exerting up to 100 pounds of force on an occasional basis and up to 50 pounds of force on a frequent basis performing such tasks as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping.

Tools and Equipment: Ability to perform manual electrical work and equipment operation as described. Knowledge and experience with some computer programs.
