Overview:

LABUR is partnering with a client to address a critical gap in their disaster recovery strategy. The client is navigating a complex mix of on-prem, cloud-based, and hybrid environments, and they need expert guidance to design and implement a resilient disaster recovery architecture. The Disaster Recovery Architect will lead the effort to establish scalable, standards-compliant DR solutions that protect highly integrated applications and ensure business continuity.

Responsibilities:

• DR Strategy & Architecture

• Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery standards and architectures for on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.

• Focus on technologies including AWS, VMware, and containerized platforms.

• Technical Advisory & Implementation

• Advise application teams on DR environment setup and management.

• Provide hands-on support with tools such as Zerto, DRS, SSRM, and Veeam.

• Planning, Documentation & Testing

• Facilitate the development, documentation, and testing of DR plans.

• Ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, HIPAA, ISO 22301).

Qualifications:

• Proven experience designing and implementing DR solutions across diverse environments.
• Deep technical knowledge of AWS, VMware, containers, and DR tools (Zerto, DRS, SSRM, Veeam).
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and testing methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
