Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated and experienced Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of construction processes, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. This role requires effective management of project scheduling, contracts, and site operations while maintaining high standards of quality. You must be willing to travel.

Duties
Oversee all on-site construction activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff on a day-to-day basis.
Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met according to the project schedule.
Conduct daily job site walks to monitor progress and quality control.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve issues.
Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and ensure documentation is up-to-date.
Enforce job site safety and cleanliness policies.
Attend pre-construction meetings, site walkthroughs, and inspections.
Travel regularly to job sites nationwide (typical travel is 75-100%).

Responsibilities
Oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and OSHA standards.
Utilize construction management software to track project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
Supervise on-site teams, providing leadership and guidance to ensure quality control and efficient workflow.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate project execution.
Collaborate with contractors and stakeholders to manage contracts and project deliverables.
Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and address any issues promptly.

Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a superintendent or similar construction leadership role.
Proven track record of managing commercial or industrial projects from start to finish.
Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proficient in project management software (Procore, MS Project, etc.).
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Ability to travel extensively and stay on-site as needed.
Proven leadership and supervisory skills in construction environments
Ability to read blueprints and schematics

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,534.00 - $92,715.00 per year
