Maintenance Mechanic**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment including conveyors, centrifugal pumps, diaphragm pumps, mixers, overhead cranes, and lighting systems. The role involves welding and fabrication tasks, reading and interpreting blueprints, and utilizing cutting torch and plasma cutter. A strong mechanical and technical understanding is essential, including knowledge of mechanics, lubrication, maintenance documents, pumps, piping systems, welding/cutting (stick, mig, tig, and torch). You will also work with mechanical power transmission, hydraulic power transmission, and basic pneumatic systems.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform mechanical troubleshooting on gearboxes, hydraulics, and pumps.
+ Conduct welding and fabrication tasks.
+ Utilize mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles to ensure efficient operation.
+ Read and interpret blueprints to execute maintenance tasks.
+ Use cutting torch and plasma cutter for maintenance and fabrication.
+ Align motors/pumps and install welded, threaded, and PVC piping.
+ Operate basic shop equipment such as drill press, stationary band saw, and pedestal grinder.
+ Apply basic rigging principles and equipment effectively.
**Essential Skills**
+ Electrical troubleshooting and wiring repair.
+ Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
+ Arc welding experience.
+ Experience with motor/pump alignment.
+ Installation of welded, threaded, and PVC piping.
+ Industrial fabrication experience.
+ Understanding of basic rigging principles.
+ 5+ years of experience as a mechanic in an industrial manufacturing setting.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $63107.20 - $69118.40/yr.
