Our client, a leader in heavy industrial manufacturing, is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their team. As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and excellent interpersonal communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer

Location: Beaumont, Texas

Pay Range: $110,000 - $120,000

What's the Job?

  • Develop basic and detailed designs, including calculations, material specifications, and drawings.
  • Support site installation and erection activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Plan and follow up on Electrical Engineering activities to meet project timelines.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
  • Lead project implementation teams, guaranteeing that safety and environmental requirements are adhered to.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in electrical engineering within industrial settings, preferably steel manufacturing.
  • Experience managing projects with budgets ranging from $16 million to $20 million.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems for industrial plants, including medium and low voltage.
  • Proficiency in engineering software tools such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
