Job Summary:

HomeCleanse, an elite name in the industry of mold and biotoxin remediation services, helps families and businesses overcome the devastating setbacks caused by mold and biotoxins. Working to ensure all client needs are met in a kind, respectful, and sympathetic way, our remediation technicians assist their teams and supervisors with all aspects of remediation work on residential and some commercial job sites.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Performs daily project tasks such as demolition, containment, clean-up, setting up the job site with materials & equipment, organization & maintenance of the site and equipment.

  • Unloads materials and distributes them to appropriate locations as identified by foremen, project plans, or specifications.

  • Prepares layout area where work will take place by properly measuring, marking, or recording openings or distances.

  • Cleans and prepares specific areas of the job site.

  • Operates a wide variety of hand and power tools.

  • Cleans job site at the end of the day, ensuring trash is properly disposed of and materials or equipment are properly stored.

  • Performs basic vehicle, equipment, and other repair or maintenance as needed.

  • Maintaining the cleanliness of products and equipment to the highest standard.

  • Attention to detail in organization, cleanliness, and care for the job site and equipment.

  • Ability and willingness to carry our brand with pride and dignity, to the client and anyone you meet while wearing our HomeCleanse uniform.

  • Awareness and respect for safety, using care and caution with teammates and clients.

  • Compassionate and treats others with respect.

  • Works to maintain a culture of excellence with pride and integrity.

  • Must be able to interpret and follow oral instructions and assignments.

  • Must demonstrate general knowledge of operations and the ability to safely operate equipment and tools.

  • Ensure clear communication with office staff, immediate supervisor, and fellow technicians.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to travel to various states for projects. This position will be required to travel outside of the local area 75% of the time. Transportation, housing, and per diem are provided when traveling.

  • Valid Driver’s license.

  • Criminal Background Check & and Drug Screening completed.

  • Ability to lift 75 pounds or more.

Education and Experience:

  • 1-3 years verifiable experience in a similar industry: plumbing, electrical, demolition, restoration, HVAC, general construction (Preferred).

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be willing to travel to other regions as needed.

  • Regularly requires intermittent sitting, standing, walking, squatting, and kneeling.

  • Physical strength and dexterity sufficient to perform the required task.

  • Ability to work in tight workspaces, such as crawl spaces and attics, and be comfortable on ladders.

Work Environment:

In addition to normal business hours, work schedules include early mornings and some weekend hours as needed. May be exposed to excessive heat, cold, and humidity. Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
