Foreman 2 LNG Plant will train, direct, supervise employees in the operation, maintenance, inspection and repair of process equipment, instrumentation, auxiliary equipment, and structures within the LNG Plant. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Train, direct, and supervise employees within the Area of Responsibility having authority to appraise performance, discipline, handle grievances, and other managerial functions. Schedule, assign, and coordinate the work of employees, Division areas/departments, and external agencies engaged in operating, maintaining, and start-up of LNG plant, equipment and processes.
Plan and layout work to ensure timely completion of work commitments which include operation, maintenance, inspection, and start-up of process equipment (Liquefaction, Vaporization, Truck Loading, Storage), instrumentation, structures, and auxiliary equipment to ensure adequate quantity/quality of work is achieved. Provide information and instructions to employees; solve problems. Provide information and instructions to employees; solve problems. Prepare, review, and/or verify various reports/records such as Area Budgets, inventory, performance appraisals, time reporting, maintenance plans/schedules. Stay abreast of advances in the LNG Industry. Perform other duties as directed.
QualificationsLICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Must have a valid driver's license from the state of residence.
HVAC Certification is preferred.
EDUCATION
Associate's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Industrial Maintenance.
EXPERIENCE
3-5 years of experience in the operation, maintenance, and start-up of process/plant equipment, instrumentation, auxiliary equipment, and utilities (E,G,W).
Experience in Project Management, Natural Gas process, Cryogenics and refrigeration systems preferred.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Must participate in Foreman/Chief Clerk Assessment Center within 90 days of hire. Must successfully complete NIMS training within one (1) year of entering the job. Must have an occupationally significant combination of job knowledge, leadership ability, problem solving/decision making, ability to assign duties to employees and contracted crews. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, carrying, feeling, heavy lifting. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Works inside and outside under all conditions. Subject to hazards of weather, high voltage electrical apparatus, rotating machinery, vessels and piping operating at cryogenic temperatures, high pressures, or carrying flammable fluids and gases, climbing to heights up to 150 feet, fire or explosion. Subject to standing/walking for extended periods.
