Project Superintendent

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a thorough understanding of construction processes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities
Manage daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, inspectors and laborers to ensure project milestones are met.
Review project plans, specifications, and schematics to ensure alignment with contract requirements.
Conduct quality control inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.
Utilize project management software such as Xcel Spreadsheets, Bluebeam.
Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports jobsite pictures, jobsite inspections and change orders.
Supply weekly project update reports, as well as take pictures to include with weekly reports.
Communicate with Owners/Developers on the progress of the job.
Handle all inspections and visitors to jobsite.
Implement OSHA safety standards to promote a safe working environment.
Troubleshoot issues that arise during construction and develop effective solutions.

Skills
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices in construction.
Proficiency in project management software such as gmail, Xcel, Bluebeam.
Familiarity with Bluebeam for document management and collaboration.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Experience with quality control processes to ensure compliance with specifications.
Proficient in using tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing when necessary.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
