Schneider Electric is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Electronics Product Design Engineer to join our innovative team in Andover, MA . In this role, you’ll help shape the future of energy management by designing advanced power electronic systems that support our mission to ensure Life Is On everywhere, for everyone, and at every moment.
What will you do?
- Design and develop cutting-edge power electronic systems for single-phase UPS, PDUs, and energy management solutions.
- Collaborate on product definition, architecture, and specifications.
- Simulate and verify designs using tools like MATLAB, Simulink, and PSpice.
- Conduct real-time testing and validation of circuits and systems.
- Partner with Industrialization teams to prepare designs for manufacturing and testing.
- Qualify new components and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- 5+ years of experience in electronics hardware design, with a focus on power electronics.
- Expertise in analog/digital circuit design and power supply circuitry (PFC, inverters, chargers).
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC, product safety, and environmental compliance.
- Experience with firmware and digital control (DSP, FPGA).
- Proficiency in simulation and PCB design tools (PSpice, Mathcad, MATLAB, Cadence).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and component-level understanding (FET, IGBT, SiC, GaN).
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.
- Comfortable using Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, OneDrive, etc.).
