Job Knowledge Requirements:
5 years or more experience in QSR remodel and new build construction. Full knowledge of civil and architectural plans. Exceptional organizational and task-management capabilities for multiple concurrent jobs, strong attention to detail, ability to adapt in an environment with continuous changes and a willingness to apply a hands-on approach to all facets of site management. Must be experienced in logistics and material handling procedures.
Minimum 10 years construction experience, with at least three of those years in a supervisory position, in addition to a comprehensive technical knowledge of building codes, building trades, materials and construction project management.
Maintains a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for insurability. Irregular hours or periodic overtime required. Frequent exposure to extreme weather situations. Travel required.
Statement of Purpose:
To monitor, coordinate and oversee building and construction jobsite, including management of subcontractors, OSHA compliance, project scheduling, resource procurement and material/equipment delivery while ensuring projects are completed within established budgets, completion dates and according to pre-determined specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Assists Construction Manager in planning, scheduling, sub-contractor negotiations, and materials sourcing. Interface with code officials.
2. Effectively communicates all construction plans, timetables and quality expectations to jobsite personnel
3. Oversees contract work at assigned location, monitors sub-contractor performance and adjusts as needed to ensure proper coordination and communication between all concerned parties.
4. Performs regular inspections of all assigned construction and remodel sites. Provides regular reports to Construction Manager on the condition of equipment and property.
5. Ensures accurate and timely reporting of invoices, change orders, construction delays.
6. Adheres to and enforces all industry & OSHA safety regulations, standards, and procedures.
7. Adjusts plans and schedules as required, to accomplish all directives.
8. Assumes responsibility for direction, motivation, work quality and discipline of all jobsite personnel.
9. Is responsible for the scheduling and completion of all Code Enforcement and Regulatory required inspections for final Certification of Occupancy.
10. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
