Electrical Engineer Senior

A Electrical Engineer Senior is needed for a multinational manufacturing company that produces and distributes trucks, buses and construction equipment, as well as marine and industrial drive systems in the Greensboro, NC area. This senior role is for an experienced electrical/electronics professional who will develop and document components, manage suppliers, and drive a product strategy roadmap.

responsibilities:

• Develop and document electronics and/or electrical components, including associated activities like simulations.
  
  
• Set requirements for components, interact with suppliers to manage work distribution, and have operational responsibility for the supplier relationship.
  
  
• Recommend suppliers and evaluate and select internal components. The role extends to delivering and executing a product strategy roadmap for a set of components.
  
  
• Secure buy-in and collaboration across different business functions.
