Construction Estimator - Masonry Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Construction Estimator with a focus on masonry materials to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in new construction, particularly with multi-family projects such as student housing and senior living. This is a critical role that requires a strong blend of technical expertise, precision, and collaboration to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine the full scope of work.

Conduct accurate material takeoffs and quantify project components using our estimating spreadsheet and other tools.

Collaborate with the sales and estimating team to build comprehensive project estimates and proposals.

Develop preliminary project schedules based on provided plans and specifications.

Research and verify pricing using a combination of historical data and regional market costs.

Finalize estimates, working with the team to close out projects and generate professional proposals for clients.

Perform other duties as assigned to support the estimating department.

Qualifications and Requirements
Must Have: A minimum of 3 years of experience as an estimator, specializing in masonry materials such as stucco, stone, clay, concrete block, and brick.

Must Have: Proven experience with new construction of multi-family projects, including student housing and senior living developments.

Must Have: The ability to complete a material takeoff assessment to demonstrate knowledge and accuracy.

Proficiency: Strong mathematical skills and the ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings and specifications.

Technical Skills: Expert-level proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with Bluebeam, BidScreen, and Google Workspace is highly desirable.

Personal Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset.

This role requires a candidate who is not only a skilled estimator but also a strategic partner in our growth.
