Demolition company seeking a laborer/operator/CDL driver. We are looking for someone that can fill part or all of this position.
Job Description;
This job would be for someone with a CDL that also likes a variety of duties throughout the year other than sitting in truck every day. We demolish everything from houses to sheds to large commercial buildings. We also do interior commercial demolition. This job would be perfect for someone who can do it all or at least be willing to learn and take charge of a job and make sure everything is on track. Somewhat of a supervisory role when needed. We are a small company but growing rapidly. Need someone willing to work hard, and as a team. Most of our work is local to Erie PA and surrounding towns but do occasionally travel.
Duties to include;
* Drive class A truck with dump trailer, with lowboy trailer hauling heavy equipment, and drive tri-axle dumps truck.
* Operate excavators in the demolition process, loading trailers, and backfilling.
* Operate other equipment and tools as needed to include - skid steer, forklift, man lift, concrete saws, jack hammer, cutting tools.
* Help laborers when needed with cleaning up around job sites to include - handling debris, raking, sweeping, shoveling, moving track mats, and other general labor tasks.
* Basic maintenance including greasing, changing oil, maintaining trucks and equipment.
Qualifications;
* Must have at least a driver license and transportation. CDL's will be given top consideration
* Must be able to work in all types of weather. Indoors and out.
* Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
* Construction/demolition background is preferred but not required.
* Ability to learn and take direction.
* Ability to work with others as long as by yourself without supervision.
* Ability to pass a drug screen and random drug testing
* Must be reliable, show up every day, be a team player, and have a good attitude!
