We have served our Municipal, State, and Commercial customers over the past 25 years, across the state of Connecticut. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced operator to lead one of our construction crews.

Construction: 5 years +

Full Job Description

HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR/FOREMAN

Ability to Safely Operate the following Equipment:
Excavators
Backhoes
Loader
Bobcat Skid Steers
Mini Rubber Tracked Excavators
Vibratory Rollers

Qualified Candidates should have the Experience in:
Ability to read construction plans and set elevations
Storm Drainage Installation; Sewer and Water Mains
Roadway & Sidewalk Excavation/Grading
Asphalt and concrete work
Site Work (Select Demo, Earth Excavation, Grading)
Trenching & Backfilling of conduit, setting of lighting foundations
Retaining Wall Construction

MUST BE WILLING TO HELP LABOR WHEN ON JOB SITE
Ensure work site is maintained and that equipment is running properly.
Safely operate equipment, perform and general labor and mechanical duties
Able to lift up to 70+ pounds.
Perform all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Ability to manage small crew, maintain good housekeeping around the work site.
Ability to work overtime as needed and Monday through Friday, some Saturdays as the workload requires.
Maintain equipment in proper working order.
Maintain an effective system of communications with supervisors, drivers and crew, inspectors, and and customers.
Use safe practices in all activities.
