Journeyman Plumber

Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with local plumbing codes.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
Perform pipe threading and other necessary plumbing techniques to ensure proper connections.
Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, to complete projects efficiently.
Provide field service support for emergency repairs or urgent maintenance requests.
Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Skills
Proficient in construction plumbing techniques with hands-on experience in various plumbing installations.
Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing systems.
Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during installations.
Experience with pipe threading and assembling various types of piping materials.
Knowledge of maintenance person skills that complement plumbing work, enhancing overall project efficiency.
Commercial driving skills may be beneficial for transporting tools and equipment to job sites.
Excellent problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues effectively on-site.

Qualifications
Valid Pennsylvania Journeyman Plumber License (or equivalent certification).
Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on plumbing experience.
Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, systems, and installations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must provide own work truck (truck payment provided).
