Construction Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Siding Supervisor to oversee our siding installation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and a deep understanding of various siding materials and techniques. This role requires excellent leadership skills to manage a team of installers, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the siding installation team on construction sites.
Ensure that all siding projects are completed on time and within specifications.
Review project plans, schematics, and blueprints to determine project requirements and materials needed.
Train and mentor team members in proper installation techniques, safety protocols, and the use of power tools.
Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Collaborate with other trades such as drywall, masonry, and concrete forming to ensure seamless project execution.
Handle heavy lifting and assist with the physical aspects of siding installation as needed.
Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and any issues encountered during installation.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction supervision or a related field, with a focus on siding installation preferred.
Strong knowledge of various siding materials, including vinyl, wood, fiber cement, and metal.
Familiarity with construction site practices, including safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Proficient in using power tools and equipment related to siding installation.
Experience in frame carpentry is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to restore or repair issues as they arise on-site.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and other tradespeople.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job tasks.
