We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator at our Mesa, AZ location.

Job Description: As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining crane equipment used in the processing and sorting of scrap metal. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring materials are moved efficiently and safely within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate overhead cranes, magnets, and other heavy equipment to move scrap metal and materials within the yard.
Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
Ensure the crane is in proper working condition and conduct daily maintenance checks.
Work closely with other team members to ensure materials are sorted and processed according to specifications.
Follow all safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Assist with yard organization and maintain clean, orderly workspaces.
Perform other duties as needed to support operations.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a crane operator, preferably in scrap metal or industrial settings.
Valid crane operator certification (OSHA or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for operating heavy machinery.
Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on crane equipment.
