About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Drafter/Designer to join a growing engineering team. This role involves interpreting technical drawings and schematics, modeling 3D wiring harnesses, and creating assemblies and sheet metal parts using 3D CAD software. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working across engineering disciplines.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field and 3+ years of electrical drafting/design experience
  • No degree but 8+ years of hands-on electrical drafting/design experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, markups, and hand sketches
  • Experience modeling 3D wiring harnesses through products and components
  • Assembly and sheet metal part creation using 3D CAD software
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Creo Schematics or similar software
  • Familiarity with Windchill PLM, SolidWorks, or other 3D CAD programs
  • HVAC or refrigeration systems experience
  • Bill of Materials (BOM) creation and maintenance

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
