- Lead the design and implementation of stormwater management systems and stream restoration projects.
- Serve as project manager on multidisciplinary teams, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and scientists, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to build strong relationships and ensure project success.
- Contribute to proposal writing, scoping, and business development efforts to help grow our stormwater and restoration portfolio.
- Stay current with local, state, and federal regulations and best practices in stormwater and ecological engineering.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- PE license in Oregon or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- 510 years of relevant experience in stormwater design, green infrastructure, or stream restoration.
- Proven project management experience and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for mentoring and developing others.
- Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools such as SWMM, HEC-RAS, and HydroCAD.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS tools.
- Experience working with public agencies, tribal governments, or non-profits.
- Knowledge of Pacific Northwest ecosystems and regulatory standards.
- Experience in proposal writing or funding acquisition.
The position offers a hybrid schedule with 2 days in the office, located in close-in NE Portland. Employees are welcome to work 5 days in the office if preferred.
