Dozer Operator

The Kearney Companies is a family-owned civil site & underground utilities contractor located in Riverview, FL and in business over 65 years. We are a 6-day-a-week operation and most of our field employees average between 50 and 56 hours a week.

Experience:

We are currently looking for EXPERIENCED operators who can run bulldozers

At least 1 year of verifiable experience operating bulldozers or excavators (aka trackhoes - is a plus)

Job Requirements:

Proven, verifiable experience operating a bulldozer as part of a site development or grading crew
Ability to successfully complete a field operations assessment
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
Reliable transportation to and from the job site

Bulldozer: 1 year (Required)

ALL applicants will be field tested

Pay: The pay for this position will be commensurate according to experience.

Responsibilities

Operate dozers to perform earthmoving tasks on construction sites.
Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance on heavy equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to execute site plans and meet project deadlines.
Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery in various conditions.
Document daily activities and report any incidents to supervisors.
