Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all production equipment and machinery. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes, minimizing downtime, and upholding the highest standards of safety and quality

salary: $41,600 - $56,160 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 5:30 PM

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Preventative Maintenance:
  
  
  • Perform routine and scheduled preventative maintenance on all punch press, shears, grinders, chillers, and conveyor systems.
  • Inspect and test equipment to diagnose and pinpoint potential problems before they lead to breakdowns.
  • Lubricate moving parts, replace worn components, and adjust machinery to optimal performance.
    
    
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities.
    
    
• Troubleshooting and Repair:
  
  
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production line stoppages.
    
    
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using blueprints, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, wiring, sensors, and other components.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly and safely
