As a Form Carpenter with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you will support in the assembly of concrete forms on a variety of high profile commercial construction projects. Ideal candidates will have experience in concrete formwork and a strong understanding of job site safety and productivity. This is a hands-on position requiring physical labor, teamwork, and the ability to follow direction with precision.

Note: The hourly rate for this position is $45.42 - $45.42 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

  • Build, assemble, and install plywood forms for foundations, walls, footings, and slabs
  • Brace forms to ensure proper alignment and structural integrity
  • Strip forms after concrete placement and curing
  • Assist with tying rebar and preparing reinforcement for concrete pours
  • Read and interpret formwork drawings, blueprints, and layout instructions
  • Cut and measure lumber and plywood to fit design specs
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

  • 5+ solid years of hands on experience working as a form carpenter or concrete carpenter
  • Familiarity with power tools, saws, hammers, levels, and measuring tools
  • Ability to lift heavy materials, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Knowledge of rebar tying and concrete pour preparation
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
