Architectural Drafter

Our client, is a growing company specializing in acoustic ceiling and wall solutions. We're currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Drafter to join our team in Concord

You will be responsible for preparing technical drawings and shop drawings for acoustic ceiling and wall panels based on architectural specifications, client requirements, and manufacturing capabilities. You will work closely with the design team, project managers, and production staff to ensure accurate and timely execution of drawings

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed 2D drawings and shop drawings using AutoCAD (or other CAD software)

Interpret architectural and engineering drawings

Collaborate with project managers and production to finalize drawing details

Ensure drawings meet company and industry standards

Revise drawings as needed based on client feedback or internal changes

Maintain organized documentation of drawings and project files

Assist in improving drafting processes and documentation templates

Qualifications:

Diploma or certificate in Drafting, Architectural Technology, or a related field

Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; Revit or SolidWorks is a plus

13 years of experience in drafting (experience in architectural or manufacturing environments preferred)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to read and interpret construction and architectural drawings

Good communication and time management skills

Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
