Excavation Laborer

Reed Construction is now hiring motivated and dedicated team members. We are currently looking for Excavation Laborers.

In this role, you'll work alongside a Foreman, or independently, to keep projects running smoothly and safely. If you enjoy hands-on work, learning new skills, and contributing to a team, we want to hear from you!

The starting pay is $21-$28 per hour contingent upon experience.

Responsibilities:

Assist with installing trench and excavation safety systems to maintain a safe work environment.
Help set up and install underground utility pipelines for water, sewer, and storm lines.
Maintain general housekeeping, erosion control, and tool upkeep to keep the site organized and efficient.
Operate equipment such as pipe saws, pumps, impact wrenches and shoveling to assist with project needs.

Requirements:

Strong communication skills to read, write, and follow verbal instructions.
Ability to perform tasks that require sitting, bending, standing, walking, and climbing.
Ability to lift over 50 pounds when required.
Primarily outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Monday through Friday
40 Hours per week; overtime available
