Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Forklift Operators to join our team for the day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This role requires proficiency in operating stand-up type forklifts with minimal training. The position involves performing duties as both a freight handler and forklift driver, including loading and unloading freight from containers, palletizing, and conducting quality checks on products.
Responsibilities
Operate stand-up forklifts efficiently.
Unload and load freight from containers and trucks.
Palletize products and perform quality checks.
Lift 50-75 lbs. regularly, occasionally lifting up to 120 lbs. with assistance.
Utilize RF scanners to ensure accuracy in inventory handling.
Understand and participate in the supply chain process by starting with offloading duties.
Pass a forklift test prior to the first day of work.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 6 months experience with 'Stand Up' forklifts.
Cross Dock Experience in warehousing.
Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. repeatedly.
Attention to detail, especially in reading numbers accurately.
Willingness to manually unload and load trucks throughout the shift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience with Crown Electric stand-up loader, cherry picker, or stand-up reach forklift.
Experience with various styles of sit-down forklifts.

Work Environment
The work takes place in an expeditors warehouse with products stacked on racks and dock doors surrounding the facility. Teams consist of medium-sized groups (10+ employees), with forklifts continuously moving in and out of containers and throughout the warehouse. Candidates will be part of a dynamic environment where hand stacking is occasionally required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
