Overhead Crane Operator

Job Title: Overhead Crane Operator ~ $20, 1st or 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Operate different machines within the facility to maintain production flow.

• Use a double hoist crane to safely move steel materials.

• Operate a blasting machine by pressing buttons and monitoring the cleaning process.

• Cut steel using a saw after receiving adequate training.

• Utilize measurements in fractions and decimals for precise steel cutting.

• Use a tape measure to accurately measure out cuts.

• Learn to operate a crane for loading and unloading parts.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Assist other departments as required.

• Read and interpret customer specifications to ensure compliance.

Essential Skills

• Overhead crane operation with industrial and heavy equipment experience.

• Proficiency in using a tape measure and handling materials.

• Strong math skills, particularly in fractions and decimals.

• Experience in reading customer specifications.

• 2+ years in an industrial or manufacturing background.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Perrysburg, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
