Job description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual for the position of Carpenter. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with a focus on various aspects of building and restoration. This role requires hands-on experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing construction projects, ensuring quality workmanship, and adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities :

• Execute trim and frame carpentry tasks with precision.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications.
• Engage in concrete forming, plastering, and rebar installation as required.
• Participate in fabrication tasks and assembly of structures.
• Conduct roofing, siding, and flooring installation projects.
• Handle water damage restoration and mold remediation efforts.
• Carry out cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture installation.
• Assist with construction painting and drywall work as needed.
• Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects while ensuring quality control.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the construction industry with a focus on carpentry.
• Familiarity with woodworking techniques and materials.
• Strong knowledge of construction site safety practices.
• Ability to lift heavy materials as required for various tasks.
• Experience with metal stud framing, tile laying, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Previous experience in the restoration industry is advantageous.
