Plumbing Foreman Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead and manage plumbing crews on commercial and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in plumbing systems, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to safety and quality. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and maintaining compliance with all applicable codes and standards. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of plumbing crews on job sites. Interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to determine layout and installation procedures. Plan and schedule work assignments, materials, and equipment. Ensure all plumbing installations meet code requirements and company standards. Monitor job progress and provide updates to project managers. Train and mentor plumbing apprentices and journeymen. Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety protocols. Communicate effectively with general contractors, subcontractors, and other trades. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to plumbing systems and installations. Manage inventory and order materials as needed. Conduct inspections and quality control checks throughout the project lifecycle. Essential Skills Over 5 years of hands-on plumbing experience in the field, in addition to leadership experience. Expert knowledge in reading and interpreting blueprints to perform material layouts on site. Extensive commercial and industrial experience. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials. Ability to read and interpret construction documents and schematics. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred. Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role in commercial/industrial plumbing. Proficiency in using project management and scheduling software is a plus. OSHA certification preferred. Why Work Here?
