Plumber

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing and possess the ability to work independently on various plumbing projects. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The Plumber will utilize their technical knowledge and hands-on skills to ensure all plumbing work meets industry standards and regulations.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout of plumbing systems.
Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks as required.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on construction sites.
Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues.
Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
Execute heavy lifting tasks as necessary for material handling and installation.
Provide maintenance person services for minor repairs or remodeling projects as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

Proficient in construction plumbing techniques with hands-on experience.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
Experience in carpentry is beneficial for integrated projects.
Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 pounds).
Valid commercial driving license preferred for transportation of materials when necessary.
Previous construction site experience is highly desirable.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
