Press Brake Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to set up and operate Amada and/or Accupress hydraulic press brake. You will be responsible for installing tooling to specification using feelers, shims, templates, or other items as required for each part. Will be running long run production parts and getting assistance from set up techs. The candidate should be flexible and willing to assist in other areas such as punch press, turret, and shear operations when needed. Consistent lifting of sheet metal into the machine is required, with weights ranging from 20 to 50 lbs throughout the day.
Responsibilities
Operating Amada and/or Accupress hydraulic press brake.
Install tooling to specification using feelers, shims, and templates.
Perform 2-5 set-ups per day for production runs of 20-75 parts.
Assist in other areas such as punch press, turret, and shear operations when needed.
Lift sheet metal into the machine, handling weights of 20-50 lbs throughout the day.
Essential Skills
1+ years of experience operating Press Brake Machines.
Ability to read blueprints.
Proficiency in using a tape measure, caliper, and protractor.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with the person and Cincinnati setting up.
Knowledge of sheet metal work, fabrication, and machine operation.
Skills in blueprint reading, grinding, and sheet metal cutting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
