Job Description:
Policies, Guidelines, and Protocols: Develop and deliver Health, Safety & Wellbeing guidelines and protocols to ensure Ferrovial complies with regulations and best practices.
Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advice: Assist in providing specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving routine queries and issues, and escalating very complex or contentious issues to senior management.
Health, Safety & Wellbeing Planning: Support the development of the HSW annual plan. Execute assigned elements of the plan. Coordinate with supervisors and teams to ensure adherence to plan objectives. Identify and address any issues in the implementation process.
Health and Safety Audit Compliance: Conduct regular risk assessments and facility inspections. Ensure corrective actions are implemented to address identified hazards. Training & Development: Support the development of HSW training programs. Implement and deliver training sessions. Monitor and assess training outcomes. Coordinate with supervisors to ensure staff receive necessary training.
Budgeting: Develop and manage detailed budgets for individual health, safety & wellbeing projects, monitoring expenditures and ensuring adherence to approved budgets. Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management.
Insights and Reporting: Develop and deliver detailed insights and reports on health, safety & wellbeing activities, performance, and outcomes. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Operational Compliance: Maintain and renew a deep knowledge and understanding of Ferrovial's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, and ensure own work adheres to required standards.
Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
Relationship Management: Contribute to the management of partnering relationships with internal clients, building effective working relationships and providing high-quality professional services to support in delivering business strategy and plans.
Leadership and Direction: Communicate the local action plan connected with Ferrovial's broader mission and vision; develop the shared vision that we are the sum of many businesses that have come together to achieve excellence and motivate people to achieve local business objectives.
