POSITION SUMMARY

The essence of the role is to plan the daily workload, set up and operate water jet machine based on given specifications, and deliver to the next internal customer.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for loading and unloading material to be set to measurements given by software systems or blueprints
• Clean, deburr parts, label, and coordinate cut parts to next customer in a professional manner
• Perform minor technical repairs or adjustments on machines
• Communicate via email regarding issues, project statuses, and questions
• Organize and prioritize workload based on business needs

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to lift-up to 50 lbs comfortably
• Must be able to read calibrated measurement instruments (caliper, tape measure) and manually program parts to be cut.
• Prior experience in reading blueprints and adjusting machine to necessary settings preferred
• Prior experience with light maintenance and diagnosing machinery problems preferred
• Works well with others and in a team environment

The target hourly range is $21.00 - $25.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. Expanded pay ranges may be available for growth and advancement opportunities. In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
