POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior HVAC Maintenance Technician is responsible for the monitoring, maintenance, repair, upgrade, and replacement of AtriCure's HVAC systems. This includes 2 roof top units that handle the general office spaces and one unit dedicated to the manufacturing-controlled environment. In addition, this individual will administer the Building Automation System to ensure all units are performing as efficiently as expected and make any adjustments necessary. This person will also maintain and repair all refrigeration units as well as perform routine building maintenance as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

  • Maintain and repair all HVAC units with special attention to the Controlled Environment system
  • Perform routine maintenance such as filter, and belt changes
  • Maintain spare part inventory with an emphasis on minimal downtime
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness on each HVAC unit
  • Manage the Building Automation Software systems such as Tracer Ensemble, and TracerSC; NetFacilities Service Request System, Badge Builder badge system, MySonitrol card access system, and spreadsheets used to effectively run the facilities department
  • Enter, schedule, dispatch, and track work orders associated with facility repairs, maintenance, safety and housekeeping for all facilities worldwide
  • Repair and maintain refrigeration systems as necessary
  • Perform light plumbing and electrical repairs as necessary
  • Perform building maintenance tasks as called for through our facility work order system
  • Perform grounds keeping activities as required
  • Follow up with requesters upon service completion to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is consistently maintained
  • Act as a liaison between service requesters, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Purchase parts and supplies
  • Maintain records and update systems accordingly

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma required or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • 5 years of commercial HVAC repair experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Proficiency
  • Highly Organized
  • Self-Motivated
  • Good Written and Oral Communication Skills
  • Outstanding Focus on Customer Service
  • Ability to travel locally 5%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years' experience in a Building Maintenance position
  • Experience working in a temperature controlled, regulated environment

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as required
  • Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
