Job Title: Electrician Technician
Job Description
Join our dedicated Maintenance team working Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, where you will help resolve electrical issues across the university campus. While a license is not required, your ability to diagnose electrical problems and determine whether they can be fixed in-house or require a licensed sub-contractor will be crucial.
Responsibilities
Execute scheduled assignments, work requests, and projects promptly and accurately.
Maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service attitude toward all stakeholders.
Anticipate and respond effectively to customer needs.
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment installations.
Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, Ethernet and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.
Conduct preventive maintenance programs and maintain industrial instrumentation and related devices.
Research and specify repair parts using manuals and computer sources.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts to optimize reliability and value.
Essential Skills
1-3 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
Ability to read drawings and blueprints and interpret specifications.
Electrical troubleshooting and wiring expertise.
Competency in using multimeters.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Understanding and application of industry standards for installation, repairs, and safety.
Mechanically inclined with plumbing skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $31.00/hr.
