Survey Project Manager

MFS Engineers & Surveyors currently has an opening for an experienced Survey Project Manager. Our offices are located in South Plainfield and Newfoundland, NJ. Our projects are located primarily throughout the NY/NJ Metropolitan area. The Project Manager is responsible for running projects field to finish. Strong oral & written communication skills and a solid understanding of right of way surveying practices are required.

Responsibilities:

Supervise Survey Crews & Office Survey Technicians.

Prepare Boundary, Right of Way, Acquisition mapping, exhibits and easements

ALTA and Topographic Surveys

Prepare Estimates

Requirements:

NJ and/or NY PLS preferred.

Minimum 10 years of field & office experience.

Strong Boundary/Right of Way experience.

Agency work experience very favorable

(NYDOT, NJDOT, Metro North, LIRR Amtrak, NJ turnpike Authority, TBTA, PANYNJ etc.)

Proficiency in any or all of the following: AutoCAD Civi3d, MicroStation, Leica Infinity, StarNet

Laser Scanning Experience a plus.

Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.

Project Manager reports to the office daily.
