Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Job Description
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery and systems. This includes responding to mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and executing repairs across electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical issues to ensure minimal downtime.
Respond promptly to service calls.
Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks using systems like PMC.
Maintain documentation of plant equipment and repair history.
Work with 3-phase motors, VFDs, sensors, and switches.
Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Weld various metals and fabricate machine guards and chutes.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
Experience with electrical troubleshooting, including 3-phase motors and VFDs.
Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Skill in welding and fabricating machine components.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and documentation.

Work Environment
Work in a foundry environment that is very hot and loud. This position requires commitment to safety and precision. The role is available on the 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime on weekends, or the 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime on weekends.
