Commercial Construction Superintendent

MacDougall Pierce is currently looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent. The primary responsibilities would include:

Coordinating construction work according to priorities and plans
Producing schedules and monitor attendance of crew
Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
Resolve problems when they arise in a professional manner
Report progress to Project Manager, Architects, Owners, and others
Maintain customer contact
Create and maintain all appropriate reports for Project Manager
Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and project budgeting, and various reports

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

Must have minimum of 5 years of verifiable commercial construction superintendent experience
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with individuals and groups
In-depth knowledge of commercial construction procedures
Ability to read, interpret, and apply blueprints, project manuals, contracts, pictures and any other pertinent information

Exceptional leadership skills, including ability to mediate in high stress, time sensitive conditions
Proficient with MS Office/Procore/Bluebeam and various construction software
Ability to think creatively, quickly and thoroughly while problem solving
Excellent time management skills and ability to motivate crews for maximum performance with exceptions quality work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
