Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Flat Welders for projects located in the Thousand Oaks, CA area This is a full time opportunity, and the pay rate is $32-37/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Perform structural steel welding, including assembly and fabrication of steel components
• Weld stiffeners, handrails, staircases, and other structural elements according to project specifications
• Utilize FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) process; certified welders preferred, but experienced non-certified welders may be considered
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
• Follow all safety protocols and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
• Work collaboratively with the fabrication team to fit, align, and secure steel structures before welding
• Perform quality checks on completed welds and make adjustments or repairs as needed

• Prior experience in structural steel welding (FCAW preferred)
• Ability to operate welding tools and equipment safely
• Comfortable working at heights and in a fabrication shop or construction environment
• Knowledge of standard welding safety procedures
