This position is based full-time in Franklin, TN, or nearby areas. Remote with the occasional office visit.

As our Sr. Business Development Manager, you will identify new business development opportunities and drive sales, revenue, and company growth. The position requires a self-motivated and active networker who values building credible relationships with clients and the community. A flexible approach to challenges and a strong ability to think laterally in delivering project solutions is needed .

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve the companys growth objectives.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends and competitive landscape.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships and alliances with other businesses and organizations.
  • Oversee the development and execution of sales strategies, including identifying target markets and customer segments.
  • Lead the creation of informative presentations to potential clients and strategic partners.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of business development activities, adjusting as necessary to meet company objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with government officials, agencies, and regulators to influence policy and advocate for NV5s interest. (i.e.: building departments and such).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for industry associations.
  • Organize and participate in industry conferences, trade shows and other events to promote NV5s interests and network with key industry players.
  • Develop and manage the budget for business development and external affairs activities ensuring cost-effective use of company resources.
  • Provide regular updates on the progress of sales and business development initiatives to your supervisor.
Qualifications

If you possess the following experience & qualifications, we encourage you to apply:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Construction or related field.
  • 7 + years of relevant business development and marketing experience promoting forensic investigation services.
  • Experience developing and growing relationships with insurance carriers.
  • Knowledge of general construction methods is strongly preferred.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and an insurable driving record.
