Wage/Salary Range: $44.00 per hour, overtime paid after 8 hours per day and after 40 hours per week
Shift Schedule: 21 days on, 7 days off rotation
Hours Per Day: 12 hours

Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Mine Electrician to join our Valued Clients team on a remote project in Nunavut . This is a contract position for a two-month project, ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence and safety, with significant experience in industrial and mining environments.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an underground and surface mining environment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues related to heavy equipment, power distribution, and lighting.
Ensure compliance with site safety protocols, electrical codes, and operational standards.
Complete daily logs and maintenance reports accurately and on time.
Qualifications:
Journeyperson Electrician certification (Red Seal preferred)
Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or mining electrical work
Valid CSTS or CSO certification
Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in remote or fly-in/fly-out locations
Familiarity with cold climate work environments
Underground mine experience
Work Environment:
Remote northern mining project with fly-in/fly-out logistics from Edmonton
Harsh winter conditions and rugged terrain
Camp accommodations and meals provided; safety-focused and team-oriented culture
