POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of a licensed plumber; provides services required for installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems of University Health (the Health System) buildings and facilities. Performs assigned duties promptly and proficiently. Complies with the Health System and departmental policies and procedures.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school graduation or equivalent and Texas Tradesman Plumber-Limited License or Apprentice Plumber license is required. Two years' experience as a plumber is preferred. Aforementioned experience is preferably gained in a hospital setting. Reading, interpreting and applying plans, specifications, blueprints, schematics, codes and work orders.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Electrical Maintenance Technician (EMT) License is preferred. A valid Texas State driver's license "Class C" and must maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record and insurable by the Health System.
