- Coordinate with all stakeholders to establish and maintain communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate the implementation of safety and health programs within project teams and promote safe work practices.
- Ensure the implementation of environmental programs, focusing on environmental protection in accordance with company policy and government regulations.
- Conduct technical reviews of specifications, drawings, contracts, and other construction documents to ensure constructability with client standards.
- Schedule and conduct project planning and status meetings to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets, disseminating significant issues to relevant participants.
- Provide schedule updates and budget status reports to appropriate management teams.
- Oversee and coordinate construction package reviews, pre-award meetings, field visits, and project site walk-downs.
- Act as the single point of contact for construction on submittals, reviews, and coordination of required project information.
- Ensure necessary outages are identified, submitted, and communicated to avoid schedule interruptions and conflicts with other projects.
- Obtain required permits for fieldwork and secure necessary approvals from applicable parties.
- Mentor and/or train Project Coordinators as needed.
- Assist Portfolio Managers with coordination, preparation, and reporting of significant activities on construction projects and programs.
- Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
- Bachelors degree in engineering, construction management, or relevant experience in utility project management.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project controls or a related field.
- Knowledge of electric utilities is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective leadership and organizational skills.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $53.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
