Revit Drafter

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Revit Drafter with a strong understanding in drafting, particularly in mechanical, electrical, or structural disciplines. This position is ideal for someone who is keen on specializing in the electrical aspect of drafting. Proficiency in Revit is required.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify detailed Revit models and construction documents for electrical engineering projects.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of designs.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications, translating them effectively into Revit.
• Maintain drawing standards and ensure compliance with company and industry protocols.
• Support project documentation and manage revisions throughout the design and construction phases.

• 2+ years of drafting experience in a professional setting, preferably in MEP, structural, or architectural domains.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with construction documentation and design workflows.

• Experience with Electrical, Civil 3D, Architecture, and structural detailing is a plus.

The position is located in a small office in South Reno, with a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. The office comprises a close-knit team of six employees, offering each team member their own desk in an open office setting similar to a recruiting pit. The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
